" You can't tell where "Reagan revolution attacked"
Sure you can. It's right there in the 1986 tax code.
Top rate drops from 50% to 28%.
Credit card interest ceases to be deductible.
Unemployment becomes taxable.
Union dues average 1-2%, so Reagan's code disqualifies the first 2% of business deductions (like dues or safety clothing), specifically targeting Unions, but really effing over the average worker.
Also ... IRAs are created. Meant for the regular worker, they'll be ultimately abused by inside investors banking futures. (Peter Theil reportedly has over $15 billion in his Roth IRA. Pretty good on max investments of $2,000-$7,000 a year!)
It was the first of four Republican tax codes, all of which funneled money upwards.

Clod believes blaming a less powerful woman for having an office romance with a more powerful male boss ...
... is a winning strategy with female voters.
Clod is going to be stunned by The Dobbs Effect.
And he's going to believe he had nothing to do with the backlash.
Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy!
