Are you FOR or AGAINST this new borrowing for tax cuts for (mostly) the world's wealthiest 1%?

Withholding rates were lowered MORE than tax rates were. I had to send out a missive to my clients, warning them of dramatically different results upcoming.

Clients averaged about $300-500/person worse outcome at filing than expected. Not awful, but shocking to a couple used to a $300 refund, who now owe $700.

I've already shown my math, based on the Tax Policy Center numbers. TPS is rated the LEAST BIASED when it comes to reporting facts. Your article first left out foreign investors, then didn't include the cost of the back-end interest. Nor did it include the REIT costs over the long term. Then when it came to who got the interest, you only included DIRECT ownership by the wealthiest, not direct AND INDIRECT.

In short, your ignorance of all the aspects is GLARING.

Taxes are a lifelong issue; as a longtime preparer, I find a lot of ignorance and misinformation; it's my job to correct inaccurate positions, and explain some deep-weeds equations. That certainly carries over to this blog.

I'll also add macrostatistics. It was my favorite part of math, since slicing off zeros leaves a ratio (read: conclusion) impossible to rebut.
