MAGATS don't care. They love it when Trump steals from them.

Interesting read IMO

You lie all of the time so I assume there's nothing interesting about, especially since you didn't even bother explaining your comment.

Everyone but MAGATS have known Trump and Elon were lying to us from the start.

I fully encourage all GOP candidates for Congress to embrace Bessent's message for the general election. Make it the primary message of your campaign and I promise you that nothing bad can happen, it can only good happen.

Of course he wants that. He hates the rights given to the people by the first amendment.

MAGATS don't care. This is what they voted for. They are thrilled their cult leader and his enablers are robbing them blind.

People will die because of Trump and Elon's corruption

what part of "visual depiction" did you not understand?

And as to this hangup you have and "actual children", consider for a second what that would mean when it comes to prosecuting such cases.
If I'm a prosecutor handling a CSAM case then I'm going to have to locate the actual child depicted in the material and prove in court that they were a minor.
What about digital manipulation or AI? Does using Photoshop to change someone's hair color or skin tone mean that image is no longer a depiction of an actual person?
Is there a point that exists when a derivative stops being a depiction of actual people and becomes something totally unique and new?

I feel like what you suggest would make it nearly impossible to prosecute CSAM cases.

Especially if it's a private collection in somebody's dresser drawer that they never share.
This really is a form of Thoughtcrime.

Doesn't the word thoughtcrime mean it only exists in thought? CSAM, by definition does not only exist in thought. It is a physical or digital depiction of a crime against a minor.

Federal law prohibits fake kiddie porn?
Even hand drawn images?

Yes, the media does not matter nor does it matter whether a real child is involved, Realistic visual depictions that is of, or appears to be of, minors engaging in sex or other obscene acts are generally illegal to produce, distribute, possess with intent to distribute or be the knowing recipient of is illegal under federal law.

So if someone uses AI to create a spank bank of kiddie porn for their own use it's Okay under this law?
#23 | Posted by Effeteposer

Did you not read the article? It very clearly states "The law bans the use of technology that generates fake nude images of real people."

That said CSAM that appears to be true-to-life, whether it is a true depiction of actual children or has been created/edited by digital means, is illegal under federal law.

If the images are private and not shown in public is mere possession of them a Crime?

You clearly do not understand what this law is about. The images targeted by this law are not private. They are being generated on a remote system and being transmitted over a public network. Many AI platforms permanently store the images that they generate. That video of the ten year old girl killed by a Russian bomb that prompted you to ask grok to recreate the pool scene from Fast Times only replacing Phoebe Cates with the bomb victim and you in place of Judge Reinhold is now Elon's property and he can show it to whoever he wants.

Even if the stick figure had a drawing of a particular person's face attached, is it child pornography?

I've seen a lot of extremely stupid retorts on this site over the years but that one takes the cake.

How does fake kiddie porn " Victimize" anyone?
If it's AI generated?
Doesn't prosecution of the possession of Fake images really Amount to Thoughtcrime?

Leave it to the Trump voter who believed Putin really was just running military exercises to attempt to justify the normalization of child porn.

"I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything."

Did Mr. Rapist grab AI Jesus by it's AI --------?

Last I checked presumption of innocence was still a fundamental principal of the US justice system. Trump, Hegseth and those just following orders are murderers.

MAGATS don't care. They love corruption and especially when it directly benefits their cult leader.

Donald Trump lives in a world where he thinks a US Olympian vandalized the reflecting pool despite his own pet prosecutor tell the world there is no evidence to support such claim. At this point I think it's fair to take the position that anything that Trump claims to have happened is the product of his dementia riddled mind.

In April of 2016 Trump said he'd eliminate what was at the time a 19T national debt. He lied.
