Larry and Sergey can't stay in California since the wealth tax as written would confiscate 50% of their Alphabet shares.

Each own ~3% of Alphabet's stock, worth about $120 billion each at today's ~$4 trillion market cap.

But because their shares have 10x voting power, the SEIU-UHW California billionaire tax would treat them as owning 30% of Alphabet (3% 10 = 30%). That means each founder's taxable wealth would be $1.2 trillion.

A 5% wealth tax on $1.2 trillion = $60 billion tax bill, each.

That's 50% of their actual Alphabet holdings"wiped out by a "5%" tax.

Section 50303(c)(3)(C) of the 2026 Billionaire Tax Act states: "For any interests that confer voting or other direct control rights, the percentage of the business entity owned by the taxpayer shall be presumed to be not less than the taxpayer's percentage of the overall voting or other direct control rights."

This means if a founder holds shares representing only 3% of economic interest but 30% of voting control (through Class B supervoting shares), the tax would presume their ownership stake is at least 30% for valuation purposes, not 3%.

The wealth tax is poorly defined and designed to drive tech innovation out of California.

Do you see the ICE officers get out of their truck, and walk patiently to her vehicle?
Do you see and hear them motion to her to not move (regardless of her pleas to go around)?
Do you see an officer attempt to grab her vehicle door handle, move in front of her vehicle after she backsup?

This is the arrest phase of multiple warnings, given probably though out the day. (There are many videos of ICE giving warnings to people, she probably ignored them)

She then attempted to flee when her partner said "drive baby drive", with negligible concern for bodily injury to the officer.

If you saw none of those things, then theres really not much to discuss regarding "indication of agents attempting to arrest her".

She really didn't.

Only white women who have lived a quiet, non-violent life may think they won't be targeted by ICE. Any woman who has lived a different kind of life, or knows women who have, knows differently.

This is the type of insanity Liberal White Woman have. With all due respect you live in the safest country in the world, you are the top of the pyramid of race/gender.

You can harass law enforcement to no end. Worse case just let yourself get arrested if it comes to that, you'll be let go to take care of your 3yo in a couple of hours.

How do you know? I haven't seen evidence of this.

What is clear is that there was an interaction between these two (officer and Good) before the video started.

The "I am not mad at you" is an interesting statement, did she do something where she felt she needed to explain herself?

Also I think her partner yelling "Drive, baby, drive" might have caused her to step on the gas, not intending too in the first place.

Thats a poor partisan guess. Indicates knowing nothing about manufacturing, you're just hoping against all logic this can't be true.

This is why I say you've never worked in tech, you don't understand anything about business, or you're so partisan as to be ignored on anything outside of partisan opinions.

The reality is the price you are paying for a product isn't the cost to manufacture that particular item, but the cost with the predicted price to manufacture it today.

The reason for this with inflation or spikes the manufacture needs to "raise" capital to purchase this months raw material.
This is why gas jump next day on international events. Using your logic these events wouldn't affect prices, but everyone knows prices immediately jump so down the chain everyone can pay for todays raw material price changes.
