Aviation enthusiasts have spotted the USN's P-8A Poseidon aircraft, used for anti-submarine warfare, surveillance and reconnaissance, circling over a drug-smuggling hotspot in the waters between the US and Mexico. Dummkopf Trumpf had ordered CIA to expand operations against the Mexican drug cartels and this summer DEA announced a joint US-Mexican counter-cartel program called Project Portero, but President Claudia Sheinbaum denied that any such initiative exists: "The DEA issues the statement, we don't know based on what," said Sheinbaum on 19 Aug. "We haven't reached any agreement; none of the security institutions have with the DEA." Earlier this year Trumpf authorized the US military to attack the drug cartels and the USN conducted several illegal XJK (Extra-Judicial Killings) of defenseless Venezuelans in the Caribbean Sea who were not given a chance to surrender. NYS AG Letitia James took center stage at the "Our Time Has Come" rally for NYC Democratic mayoral front-runner Zohran Mamdani on Monday evening, her first public appearance since being indicted by the nefarious Trumpf junta. James, who has been a key supporter of Mamdani, was received with thunderous applause and a standing ovation at Manhattan's United Palace where Mamdani held a get-out-the-vote rally attended by thousands of supporters and volunteers. Supporters shouted, "We love Tish!" as James stood on stage taking in the cheers. She responded by putting a closed fist up in the air. The crowd responded by holding their fists in the air as well. Letitia James did not mention the odious Dummkopf Trumpf by name, at one point only saying, "I fear no man," making a reference to his heinous persecution of her. Read more

Nato chief Mark Rutte joked about the condition of Russia's naval fleet on Monday as Moscow denied one of its submarines had to surface because of technical problems. Russia's Black Sea Fleet said the diesel-powered submarine Novorossiysk had surfaced off France to comply with navigation rules in the English Channel, through which it was shadowed by a UK warship and helicopter. Chinese President Xi Jinping has directed the People's Liberation Army (PLA) to be ready to militarily seize Taiwan by 2027. China considers Taiwan its territory, and any military effort to retake the island as a legitimate effort at reunification. A classified DIA report says China is rapidly building up its commercial ferry fleet to prepare for the invasion. Large ocean-going vessels have been modified to carry tanks for "D-Day style" amphibious operations. In 2022 alone, some 30 Chinese commercial ferries conducted military exercises involving PLA troops. China will have more than 70 of the large vessels by the end of 2026. Russia has agreed to equip and train the PLA to air-drop armored vehicles and conduct airborne operations. The PLA has the least amount of experience in airborne operations, while the USSR was a pioneer of this tactic in the 1930s. Read more
Dozens of CDC employees were notified late Friday night that they were being terminated. The agency's Washington office was terminated, as well as employees in the Global Health Center and the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases. "Entire offices are being eliminated, including people in senior leadership roles." At least some officers in the Epidemic Intelligence Service were dismissed. The EIS officers are nicknamed "disease detectives" because they are frequently charged with investigating outbreaks and are part of a storied CDC training program. Some fellows in the Laboratory Leadership Service, who work on improving lab safety, also got notices. Leaders in the agency's Public Health Infrastructure Center also received notices, as well as the employees in the Office of Science.
