President Donald Trump, speaking on April 29, 2026, during a White House meeting with the Artemis crew, commented on the physical and intellectual demands of becoming an astronaut while addressing the successful space mission involving four crew members. His remarks came as he praised the astronauts' achievement and discussed the broader future of U.S. space exploration.

President Donald Trump's announcement Wednesday that he was considering pulling some U.S. troops out of Germany stunned defense officials, who scrambled to figure out if the president was serious about following through on his threats this time.

Trump's social media post was the first that many had heard of a potential new push to take hundreds, if not thousands, of American troops out of Germany, according to three defense officials.

It strongly contrasts a recently concluded months long review of the Pentagon's global troop footprint, which did not call for major pullbacks from Europe.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said if he talks to King Charles III during his visit, he would encourage the king to give back a diamond with a long, controversial history. A jewel called the Koh-i-Noor is contained inside the Crown of Queen Elizabeth. The diamond is believed to have originated from India. It was given to Queen Victoria in 1849 as a condition of the Treaty of Lahore, which ended the first Anglo-Sikh War.

Doing your own attack ad as satire! Nice!

One of the most-watched shows on Netflix currently is Hulk Hogan: Real American, a four-part documentary series that sets out with the premise it's going to unpack the complicated, messy nature of Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan), using it as a lens by which we can see all heroes as the flawed individuals they really are. Sadly, it once again fails in its primary task, following in the footsteps of 2024's Mr. McMahon to turn out another WWE-sanctioned, selective version of history, which gently dips its toe into the promise of being genuine, before recoiling once more to present a sanitized version of history.

The former Massachusetts lawmaker says progressives in his party have "embraced an agenda that goes beyond what's politically acceptable."

As President Donald Trump claims signs of disarray in Iran's wartime leadership, one key player appears to be accumulating sizable influence that could shape the Islamic Republic's position on the battlefield and negotiating table. And he's likely not the kind of figure the White House wants to see at the helm.

  • To this blatant agitprop, Dummkopf Trumpf posted on Truth Social "Great idea!"
  • The State Dept recently began a policy of rejecting potential asylum seekers at US embassies and consulates and DHS has ended "nearly all green card approvals for Cubans" while it targets them under its mass deportation agenda for arrest, detention, and deportation.

Congressman Pat Harrigan (R-NC): "The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) manages nearly 12 million acres of public land and is the only major federal agency that still prohibits law-abiding Americans from carrying firearms on it. Two dozen House Republicans and I sent the Secretary of the Army a letter this week urging him to finish what Dummkopf Trumpf started and finalize a rule that would allow Americans to carry on Corps lands in accordance with state law."

President Donald Trump has lost his second ambassador to Ukraine in as many years. Julie Davis, the acting U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, has left her role and will leave Kyiv in the next few weeks. Davis replaced Bridget Brink after her departure in April 2025. Davis had become frustrated in the role as a result of differences with the president over his lack of support for Ukraine, three people familiar with the matter told the Financial Times.

The Lebanese government has accused Israel of committing mass ecocide over the past several years: "The scale and intentionality of the damage to forests, agricultural lands, marine ecosystems, water resources, and atmospheric quality constitute what must be recognised as an act of ecocide, with consequences that extend far beyond immediate destruction. The environmental damage we face is not simply ecological -- it is a matter of public health, food security, livelihoods, social fabric, and national resilience."

The State Department ordered consular officers to ask every applicant for a visitor, student, or temporary-work visa two new questions: 1) "Have you experienced harm or mistreatment in your country of nationality or last habitual residence?" and 2) "Do you fear harm or mistreatment in returning there?" Applicants who answer "yes" to either must be denied a visa on the spot. The directive-- signed by USSECSTATE Marco Rubio and rooted in a 2025 Donald Trump executive order-- seeks to choke off what the administration calls "asylum abuse" at the front end of the mobility pipeline.

An additional day of reporting has largely confirmed the outlines of my morning-after analysis on Saturday night's scary-but-contained security incident at the White House Correspondents Association dinner. Saturday's incident was closer on the spectrum to the Clinton era "assassination attempt" when a guy opened fire on the White House with an AK-47 from the public sidewalk than it was to Butler, where the president was actually in danger. It was just a Hail Mary at the first line of security.

Donald Trump is facing renewed rumors that he "wears adult diapers" after the president faced online ridicule for a noticeable bulge visible beneath his suit pants. Trump, who sparked fresh fears over his 'rotting' hand with a new alarming injury, has repeatedly faced allegations of wearing diapers. These rumors stem from unverified assertions made by former Celebrity Apprentice crew member Noel Casler. "He would often soil himself on The Apprentice set, he's incontinent," Casler, who was employed on Celebrity Apprentice for six seasons, revealed to MediasTouch in 2020.
