Donald Trump, whether they like it or not is the leading candidate for president in the United States in 2024. And NBC, which claims to be a news outlet, is explicitly apologizing because they hired somebody minimally associated with that campaign, even though they're surrounded by people who came right from the Democratic National Committee and the Biden White House. They see no contradiction in that at all.
You'll say that about ANY Republican not named Romney, Cheney or Kinzinger, Laura Mohr.
Spoken by the ignoramus who has no idea how many Republicans already are paid contributors on MSNBC.
And let it be pointed out that many of McDaniel's MSNBC critics are themselves either current or former Republicans - former RNC Chairman Michael Steele, Bush Comms Director Nicolle Wallace, former GOP Congresman David Jolly, conservative pundit Charlie Sykes to name a few. It's the same reason none of Nixon's Watergate conspirators were hired by media companies. McDaniel actively tried to assist Trump in trashing constitutional rule in America by parroting his Big Lie over and over again.
As most have made crystal clear, the backlash isn't about McDaniel's political party, it's about her direct complicity in assisting Donald Trump's attempt to delegitimize U.S. elections with lies regarding nonexistent voter fraud, especially in Michigan as she joined Trump on phone calls with state officials in his efforts to overturn their certified results naming Joe Biden the state voter's presidential choice in 2020.

She even changed her name - dropping Romney - in aquiesence to his psychopathy. She has no place in non-Trump slurping media.
