The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) on Thursday said it has withdrawn all proposed amendments to state parks that could have added hotels, golf courses and pickleball courts to the protected land.

He's such a Lewzer!

And there are Harris/Walz signs in the Villages... not good for the guy that called Trump everything but white until he lost the Primary.

Or for Trump, either.

What a fccking loser with horrible ideas. DumSsantis managed to piss off a lot of people, and the company that had been awarded the contract to build the golf course and more in Dickinson Park pulled out of the (previously hidden) deal. By doing so they confirmed that there was no bidding, no proposals, nothing but a guaranteed back-door deal between DumbSantis and the Tuskegee Foundation.

What did Dumbsantis do? He blamed all the fallout on a deliberate leak to a "left-wing group" to "create a... obviously a phony narrative"

Gov DeSantis may get whiplash is he continues back-pedaling so quickly.

Of course, he has said that if he were elected president, he would do to the Inited States what he did to Floria. So , hotels and gold courses in Yosemite?

Some evil leftist caught wind of this corrupt scheme to privatize really beautiful, ptistene state parks and give sweetheart deals to Deathsantis's friebds. I say thank God for evil leftists.

I wonder whatever happened to that 50,000 strong army that answered to only to him?

Not a surprise.

Unknown to many outside the Sunshine State, there are many, many wealthy white retirees in the state who care deeply about the local environment, and they will raise hell (in part because they have nothing else to do and all the money in the world to pay for it) if some left-handed scheme to build golf courses in nature preserves and parks threatens their local park/nature area in the least...
