Meteorologists Get Death Threats

As Hurricane Milton approaches Florida, meteorologists are staying awake for days at a time trying to get vital, life-saving information out to the folks who will be affected. That's their job. But this year, several of them tell Rolling Stone, they're increasingly having to take time out to quell the nonstop flow of misinformation during a particularly traumatic hurricane season. And some of them are doing it while being personally threatened.

Someone will kill you for telling them something that is inconvenient or uncomfortable.

On the upside, many of those making these death threats are exactly the people who will ignore viral information and die in the storm surge.

Biden spoke Thursday at the White House about the aftermath of Hurricane Milton.

President Joe Biden on Thursday delivered a sharp rebuke of Donald Trump for spreading misinformation about the federal government's hurricane response.

While speaking on Hurricane Milton at the White House, Biden was asked if he's spoken to Trump directly.

"Are you kidding me?" Biden responded. "Mr. President Trump, former President Trump, get a life, man. Help these people."

The president was then asked by a reporter if he would do anything to try to hold Trump accountable, after Biden pledged to go after those who seek to take advantage of victims through price-gouging or scamming.

"The public will hold him accountable," Biden said. "You better -- the press -- hold him accountable because you know the truth."

According to the evidence, Fmr Trump seemed to threaten fmr VP Pence with gang violence unless fmr VP Pence followed his orders on Jan 6. To the point that fmr VP Pence's security detail was alerted.

Always the eager opportunist, it sounds to me that Majorie Taylor Green has jumped on Trump's death threats carousel.

But meteorologists? Really? Because they laughed at her for saying that the government controlled the weather? (Democrats caused Hurricane Milton, hint, hint)

And because President Biden called her stupid?

And because she wants to be included in Trump's inner sanctum if he wins the election?

Or, maybe President Biden is right. She's just stupid!
