Yesterday my wife, our son, daughter-in-law, three boys (10, 10, 7) and a wee girl nearly 2 (in stroller):spent a pretty vigorous day hiking part of Chicago. Michigan Ave, the parks along the river and lake, through the Field, and back. Long day, lots going on, and not once during the entire time - throughout the day - could we collectively have managed to summon up the amount of self-pity, whinging, whining, and hateful obnoxiousness that Pink-Haired Elvis dumps in 5 seconds during one of his senile rants.
