Scientists Warn That a Key Atlantic Current Could Collapse

A new report describes the dire state of Earth's snow and ice, suggesting several major tipping points are likelier than scientists once thought.

The crying wolf/chicken little syndrome has been very detrimental to those who actually care about the environment. It's liking going on an on about a potential asteroid strike or the Earth's magnetic field suddenly flipping. It gets a lot of clicks from those with anxiety, but in the long run it causes more people to tune out because they believe it's something far beyond their control.
