Trump Preps ‘Bloodbath’ on Federal Death Row

"Donald Trump ran on a platform that said he is going to finish this job. He's going to execute the remaining 40 people on federal death row," Nolan says. "It's frightening for our clients who are still there. President Biden has an opportunity here to fulfill the promises he made during the prior election."

Did you know there's a guy the government committed to prison for murder, was determined apparently, by people like you that he was innocent.

Awarded $4.1 Million dollars (how much was taxed idk) but turns out he later killed some dude because he owed him ~$1000.

The author glosses over the fact that every person on death row has been accused of a heinous murder, unanimously convicted and upheld through multiple appeals.

As a society that has the death penalty it's easy to write off these people has having no value. Yes some of them come from an ok home life growing up but many of them did not. It's easy for us just to go they deserve what is coming for them because our compassion levels in this country are not as great as they should be. Yes these people are extremely flawed individuals. We don't often ask why they do the killings that sent them to death row. It's hard to put a human face to such monsters. Something made them this way. I'm 100% Anti capital punishment so I don't believe we have the right to kill them either. If killing is wrong. Which it is as a form of punishment. Yes I believe in self defense. Don't get it twisted. This isn't self defense however. Just sayin

I agree with your points. The first thing I do is look for the rest of the story The Rolling Stone article did not. The author put a human face on him but completely ignored the monster part. Charles Michael Hall, the patalegal with the guitar and the crochet hobby committed a vicious, unprovoked murder. Why? He said killing relaxes him. The details are horrific.

His efforts to rehabilitate himself are duly noted, but he needs to remain separated from society permanently. Life in Prison without Possibility of Parole can achieve that. The death penalty is barbaric and unnecessary..
