OK, maybe this is just me, but there seems to be something occurring.

Why all these drone sightings?

What that "something" might be is unknown to me.

@#3 ... News feeds on itself. ...

I do not deny that.

But when the ~officials~ say things like ... ~we do not know what they are doing~ along with, ~but they are not posing a danger.~

That raises a level of concern for me.

If those officials apparently admit they do not understand them, then how can those very same officials state that the drones do not poses a threat.

OK, that aside, at this point for me, there seems to be too much evidence and not enough explanation.

While I do laud the public officials for saying, ~we have not a clue.~

I also castigate them for assuring that there is no threat.

If they admit they have no clue, how can they dismiss the drones?

... and now Germany?
