Trump Backs Down from Shut Down Threats

President-elect Trump called a revised stopgap spending plan that emerged Thursday a "very good Deal for the American People" and urged lawmakers to support it.

The original compromise is still available, and Schumer, the only one that can bring a bill to the floor of the Senate, said he'd do that. Musk and Vice President Trump never were going to get the House Bill voted on in the Senate. This is what you get when you elect and include people that never watched School House Rock's "How a Bill becomes a Law."

The real rift here is going to be between Trump and Speaker Johnson for not having the juice to keep the Republicans defectors in line to pass the bill.
