"For the time being, Volume Two will be made available for in camera review only by the Chairmen and Ranking Members of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees upon their request and agreement not to release any information from Volume Two publicly," Justice Department lawyers wrote.

"This limited disclosure will further the public interest in keeping congressional leadership apprised of a significant matter within the Department while safeguarding defendants' interests."

"The Justice Department is also asking the 11th Circuit to vacate Cannon's temporary injunction blocking the release of any portion of the report for three days following a ruling by the circuit court.

That three-day window would theoretically give Trump time to seek intervention from the Supreme Court to block the release of volume one of the report. If the circuit court grants DOJ's request and overturns Cannon's order, volume one could be released any time after that."

She has already dismissed the documents case that was before her.

So, what say does she have in saying the report about the J6 events (a case that was not before her) should not be released?

I admit that I am a legal lay-person, even so, Judge Cannon's decision seems odd to me.

Should Trump succeed in blocking release of these reports in the U.S., I'd be curious to know if there is any reason why these reports can't be released to any friendly foreign journalism who may have a "vested" interest.

If not, albeit circular, I doubt it would take long for the reports to make their way back into the hands U.S. journalists who have no obligation to disclose their source.

At least not until Trump's gets around to shutting down the Freedom of the Press.

Only one person is above the law in America, and that is the idiot incoming President, who the truly irrational American electorate chose to run things for four years.
If Trump is above the law in our democracy, then so am I, so are you, and so is Luigi. Sure, people will go to jail, but the only moral law is "don't get caught".

If nothing else I hope what comes of this is a better photo of Judge Cannon in her office.

This report will do little other than further clarify to the world what and whom they are dealing with in King Dotard II. I hope the report is posted far and wide, and read by as many Americans as possible. To fight our enemy we must know them first...

Sorry to burst your little bubble but the American people don't care about your anti-democratic lawfare anymore. They have seen Russia gate, the phony NY lawsuits, the attempted assassinations, the childish name calling and soundly rejected it. It also showed to the American people that the Democratic party has nothing else to offer. And the big one was the Democratic part continuing to insult half of americans, even Obama blew that one.
