I Have No Idea What Peter Thiel is Trying to Say ...

... and It's Making Me Really Uncomfortable. In a rambling op-ed for the Financial Times, the master of the universe ranted about the JFK conspiracy, The Decameron, immortal rulers from Gulliver's Travels and Jeffrey Epstein.

The op-ed baffles. "In hindsight, the internet had already begun our liberation from the DISC prison upon the prison death of financier and child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2019," he writes. Who was president in 2019 when Epstein died? His vaunted Trump. Who is all over Epstein's flight logs? Trump. Who has been photographed multiple times with Epistein? Trump.

"A time for truth and reconciliation," is the piece's ominous title.

The reference to South Africa's post-Apartheid era policies is the most coherent line in the article. The subhed immediately takes us into drug-rant territory:

"Trump's return to the White House augurs the apoklypsis' of the ancien regime's secrets."

So... what Trumpers voted for. Nice.

What this really is is an elitist bashing elitists and hoping the rubes won't notice.

But he's no Trump when it comes to relating to stupid people, and taking their lunch money away from them with a scam.

Who is the I/me in this article, and why should we care? Is the article about the author or Thiel?

Hint: if your headline massively distracts from what the article is a about, it's not good journalism.

Apparently Mr Thiel seems to have an opinion of Pres-elect Trump that indicates he (Mr Thiel) thinks Pres-elect Trump has a clue about truth.

Take note the latitude/longitude of Chaco Culture National Park in New Mexico. The internet age has not taught people spherical trigonometry, nor apprised the public on the history of Europeans on this land hundreds of years before Columbus was born. Around the same time Europeans were in "New Mexico" Europeans were killing each other back home with plagues on each others' houses.

The "Distributed Idea Suppression Complex (DISC)" has historically kept the American public so dumb that the US now has to import H1B visa-holders to keep things running. The apartheid reference is appropriate, and, speaks to this fact.
