Americans are fine with corporate DEI

A majority of Americans across nearly all demographic groups said DEI initiatives have made no impact on their personal careers, according to a newly released Harris Poll/Axios Vibes survey.

... Why it matters: Republican lawmakers and activists have vilified DEI, a term for diversity, equity and inclusion policies used by employers. Companies have responded by rolling back programs.

- - - Yet Americans " and businesses " have a generally positive to at least indifferent view on the subject.

- - - On balance, most demographic groups were more likely to say DEI benefited their career than hindered it. ...

Doesn't really matter if a majority of people support anything if they don't vote on that issue.

A majority of people favor universal background checks for guns (~80% is what I heard last). But we don't have one because 10% of the population will freak out and primary/vote out anyone who supports one. And that works where elections are decided by a couple percentage points.

This DEI Crisis! is like the Trans Crisis! And the Abortion Crisis! And the Immigrants Eating Cats Crisis!

The majority likes DEI, Trans are 2 percent or less of the population, with .5 percent being adults.

Women were already having 93 percent of Abortions at 13 weeks or less.... AND your cat wasn't eaten by immigrants, it left because you are an idiot.

The only ones who hates Dei is portion of the white population who are afraid of white men becoming a minority. That's the crux of the issue.

I call BS! Pretty much most people would prefer meritocracy rather than end up with people like those running the LA fire department, like the DEI hire individuals currently 'in charge' of our US transportation department, the VP, and so many more whose lack of actual credentials obviously show.

I do believe that most liberals/progressives are the ones who are for DEI as apparently they prefer incompetence.

" I do believe that most liberals/progressives are the ones who are for DEI as apparently they prefer incompetence."

This, from a Trump voter, who probably supports Kash Patel, an incompetent DEI hire if there ever was one.

Irony is not dead.

The fact that these words are uttered by a Trump voter. A man who was born sliding across home plate, but still declared bankruptcy six times after failing to turn a profit with, inter alia, a casino. A man who would be worth $10 billion more if he had simply invested his inheritance in an index fund. Priceless.
