Today the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia announced the sentencing for the people involved in the attack against United States Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick. Here is USCP Chief Tom Manger's statement:

"Today our United States Capitol Police family is thinking about our late friend, Officer Brian Sicknick, and his family. In the face of a violent attack on the U.S. Capitol, Officer Sicknick and his colleagues heroically defended the Congress and our democratic process. As a member of our First Responders Unit, Officer Sicknick was protecting the West Front of the Capitol Building when he was brutally attacked. He died the very next day. We are grateful for everyone who helped put his attackers behind bars. We will never forget Officer Sicknick's bravery, nor his dedication to our country. Brian Sicknick, the slain U.S. Capitol Police officer who was given the rare distinction of lying in honor in the Capitol Rotunda, received a final tribute from lawmakers Wednesday. President Biden and first lady Jill Biden joined Sicknick's family members and colleagues from the Capitol Police in a period of visitation on Tuesday night.

Sicknick, 42, died from injuries he sustained fending off members of the mob that breached the Capitol complex on Jan. 6.

For people like MSG, Sicknick is a traitor for defending the United States capitol building from insurrectionists.

I would never di,imish the heroism and sacrifice of Officer Sicknick; but there was another hero that day. He didn't lose his life but he displayed real couragr when he stood up to Trump and did his Constitutional duty to certify the electiion. Mike pence deserves a medal for doing his duty with sngry crazy mobs, who Trump just pardoned, were toaming througgh the Capital chanting that they wanted to murder Mike Pence. I hope Mike lives until the day Donald Trump either dies or is impeached. I suspect he is too self-efacing to laugh out loud but I'll bet there will be the hint of a smile on his face.

Brian Sicknick died of natural causes from 2 strokes linked to a blood clot. With the Biden mafia haaving to accept these facts from the coroner, they doubled down and claimed he "died in the line of duty" - another lie.

Sorry but how often do healthy people with no history of heart or other issues randomly get blood clots? He was assaulted with bear spray and yes physically as well but not "hurt". You are not going to convince a reasonable and reasoning person the events earlier in the day didn't lead to his death.

That said, the cause of death was "acute brainstem and cerebellar infarcts due to acute basilar artery thrombosis". A thrombosis occurs when there is an injury to a blood vessel. Gee, I wonder how that could have happened?

Medical Examiner Finds USCP Officer Brian Sicknick Died of Natural Causes

The USCP accepts the findings from the District of Columbia's Office of the Chief Medical Examiner that Officer Brian Sicknick died of natural causes. This does not change the fact Officer Sicknick died in the line of duty, courageously defending Congress and the Capitol.

The Department continues to mourn the loss of our beloved colleague. The attack on our officers, including Brian, was an attack on our democracy.
