US President Donald Trump has said he will follow through with his threat to hit imports from Canada and Mexico with 25% border taxes, known as tariffs, on 1 February.
Trump reiterated today that tariffs will be coming against Canada and Mexico on Saturday, although he said the scope of those levies is still up in the air. Canada and Mexico are the top U.S. trading partners, and his ongoing tariff threats have sparked fears of an economically damaging trade war.
