Venezuelans in Florida are Angry at Trump Immigration Policy

Venezuelan migrants in South Florida say they feel betrayed by a Trump administration decision to end legal protections for hundreds of thousands of people who fled dictatorships and sought refuge in the U.S.

More

The Trump admin will kick 300,000+ Venezuelans off of TPS in 60 days, rendering them undocumented and forcing them to lose jobs and stability. Combined with tariffs, this will be another huge blow to the economy; nearly all are working legally now. And another 300,000 will lose status in September!

In the 2024 presidential election, Donald Trump won the vote in Miami-Dade County, helped largely by the Hispanic vote, including naturalized Venezuelan Americans. That's one reason why Ferro and many others here say they're shocked and disappointed. "Beyond betrayed," she said. "They used us. During the campaign, the elected officials from the Republican Party, they actually told us that he was not going to touch the documented people. They said, 'No, it is with undocumented people.'"
ROFL!

The easiest way for these folks to remain in Florida is to (1) grow white skin (2) lose the Spanish accents, and (3) become Jewish. All others should plan to leave. Today...

Oh, no. Donald lied to the Venezuelans.

I wonder what he will do to them next?

These folks are almost as pathetic as the stump-toothed MAGAts who believed they were going to rich from Trump Bucks.

I hope someone is keeping a list of all the Trump voters who are currently feeling or will soon feel "betrayed" by him.

While he's at it, Trump might as well deport the Cubans too.

They could have stayed in Mexico until further notice. I'm not sure why they feel betrayed, Trump has always been behind "remain in Mexico"
