In the CNN poll released Sunday and conducted in the final five days of last month, 52 percent of respondents said they do not support "the way Donald Trump is handling his job as president"; 48 percent say they do support the president's performance.
The study was conducted for CNN via web on the SSRS Opinion Panel, a nationally representative panel of U.S. adults ages 18 or older recruited using probability-based sampling techniques. SSRS is an independent research company. Surveys were obtained February 24-28, 2025, with a representative sample of n=2,212 respondents. The margin of sampling error for total respondents is +/-2.4 at the 95% confidence level. The design effect is 1.4. More information about SSRS can be obtained by visiting www.ssrs.com.
