Tesla Is Sitting on an Enormous Pile of Unsold Cybertrucks

Tesla's Cybertruck, it's fair to say, isn't exactly flying off the shelves.

The guidance comes amid a drop in deliveries and earlier slowdowns of Cybertruck production.

Hey Elon, if it will help you out I'll take one off your hands. I have a beautiful empty parking place here under my condo building ready for it.

Musk's ruined Tesla's brand. Meanwhile, competitors are gaining market share.

Oh, but self-driving is just around the corner! promises Elon Musk ... year after year after year.

Once again ... Reality disagrees with the voices in your head.

Musk damaged Tesla's brand in a few months. Fixing it will likely take longer

Sales have plunged for Tesla amid protests and boycotts over Musk's embrace of far right-wing views.

Good, they make my eyes hurt.

That nasty Nazi Musky can give those cyber trucks to the Russians who can use them in the next forced meat wave attack on Ukraine.

#11 | Posted by Wildman62 at 2025-05-10 06:43 PM

Musk could drop them from space on Ukraine.

It would be raining Nazimobiles.

I saw a cybertruck up close for the first time in a small tourist town (the home of basketball) in Ontario last week.

It was just parked on the side of the street with a half dozen people standing around laughing at it.

I'm in rural Michigan where there's more pickups than anything else ( he'll, more jacked up pickups than anything else) and in 8 years I've seen one wankpanzer and it was on the freeway.
Apparently, like his ooge promises, he's missed his wankpanzer sales figures by 90%.

I've seen one wankpanzer and it was on the freeway.

I expect most buys don't stray far from the asphalt. It would be interesting to see how they work in an off road scenario.

They are heavy, which can be good or bad depending on the situation. Look like decent wheels and ground clearance. 4 wheel steering could be useful.

Not sure how tough they are.

F150 Lightning...

Rushed to market with insufficient development.

Needs to drop 1000 lbs using advance materials, needs a better battery, better power control.

Could have been a ---- panzer killer.

Could have sent Tesla to sleep for the long dirt nap.

But no...and it's a crying shame.

Chinese electric vehicles had a 100% tariff on them, now it is much greater. If Tesla had to compete without tariffs, vehicles from at least three markets would bankrupt them.
That is a fact, and the blame of that goes to people like Nixon, so long ago, for "opening China" to American manufacturing. The major companies made trillions by producing for cheap and selling for dear, and now Trump wants to pretend it just happened, his party isn't to blame...

$300,000,000 for Trump's reelection is turning out to be a bargain for Musk, what with billions in impending fines and dozens of investigations into his violation of everything from worker's rights to safety getting swept under the rug.

#21 | Posted by AMERICANUNITY at 2025-05-11 06:12 PM

If Tesla loses $880 billion in market cap, it's "only" as valuable as Porsche.

The car is massive and kinda ugly, reminds me of the Pontiac Aztec crossed with a Mars rover.
