Wow, there is a winning talking about after telling their liberal ------- minions to run around screaming 'tariffs are TAXES' for the last 3 weeks. I guess this douche finally talked to some union members or looked up some old Nancy Pelosi clips on YouTube.

So, now their message has shifted to "tariffs are bad WHEN TRUMP DOES THEM" - I mean, you can't criticize Chinese tariffs when Biden just did the same thing to Chinese EVs less than a year ago unless your voters base is stupid with the memory of a goldfish - and that is what they tried to do for the last 3 weeks - shows how much they respect their base.

This is the equivalent of Kerry's - "I voted for it before I voted against it moment".

Maybe it was tariffs - maybe it was because no one trusts the DEI designed/manufactured flying --------- that keep falling from the sky - maybe it is because Chinese air travel is plummets due to their crashing economy.

Provide a link stating clearly that the order was cancelled due to tariffs (meaning increased cost AND NOT the airlines knowing passenger demand is going to further crater). Not speculation from a reporter - an official statement from the company

Oil, natural gas, pork, and soybeans are all global commodities. China not buying from the US does nothing to the US.

A vast majority of what the US imports from China, they don't need and/or can easily source from other countries or make in the US.

China cannot say the same. China imports 35% of its food, 60% of its oil, and 42% of its natural gas - these aren't things you can just do without or make in China.

If China cuts out the US, these are global commodities and will simply sell to other countries. If the US cuts out China, these products can try to be dumped in SE Asia and Europe - but those countries are taking steps against it. The US does need Temu and Shein - China NEEDS food and energy.

Here are the top 4 imports by the US from China - none of this ---- could not be produced here or bought from other countries. Hell, IT USED TO BE MADE HERE.

1 Machinery and Mechanical Appliances
2 Consumer Electronics
3 Furniture, Bedding, and Lamps
4 Toys, Games, and Sport Equipment

Here are China's top import categories:

1 oilseeds and grains
2 oil and gas
3 pharmaceutical products
4 semiconductors
5 aerospace products
6 chemicals
7 motor vehicles

Outside of motor vehicles, China needs all of these products. If they cut off US as a supplier, these are globally products that fill the void created by whatever alternative country China sources from.

Soybeans are a global commodity - so, no by definition. It may cause a temporary disruption as countries shift suppliers. But, unless the Chinese decide they are just not going to eat soybeans (which will not happen), it just results in a shift to where they are sent. For seed oils, they have been recycling 'gutter oil' for years already as they have no other options.

To account for the temporary disruption while supplier shift. Ag in the US is a $1.5T industry and soybeans shipped to China from the US is under $20B. This is not going to break the US ag industry and Trump will protect his most loyal supporters. Again, China cannot do the same unless they simply decide not to eat.

And here you go proving that you have no clue about global trade. Unless people just stop eating food, global soy consumption will continue. China will probably shift to Brazil soybeans and the Brazil soybeans that used to ship to Japan, EU, and SE Asia will now be forced to either buy US soybeans and/or not eat. They will choose to eat.
