China Takes Advantage of Trump Turmoil

Chinese leader Xi Jinping has welcomed a large group of foreign dignitaries to China for meetings that he hopes will unite regional powers in their shared grievances with the U.S.-led global order and the policies of President Donald Trump.

The forum is a key part of China's campaign to be seen as a reliable partner and a counterweight to U.S. unpredictability in an increasingly multipolar world. Modi's attendance in particular -- his first visit to the country in seven years -- is a milestone in Beijing's attempt to mend ties with an influential U.S. partner that has been alienated by Trump's tariffs.

Trumpanzee is trying to solve big problems by creating bigger problems. It's an old 1980's business model. Bush Turd 2 applied similar methods to his brand of deluh-gatin'

The dollar will continue losing its value.

America will continue to lose to China.

The rest of the world is moving on without us.

Deplorable Trumping MAGAts have killed this once glorious nation.

All because they were told transgender people would chop off their kids dicks.

That's how dumb MAGA truly are.

Car rides and hand-holding: Putin, Modi and Xi send Trump a pointed message
www.nbcnews.com

... A private car ride with Vladimir Putin may not be as special as President Donald Trump thought.

With a backseat bromance of their own, as well as hand-holding and hugs, the Russian leader, his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, and their host, Chinese leader Xi Jinping, put on a display Monday that seemed designed to turn heads in Washington.

The three leaders staked out long-held positions in comments at this key regional summit in the Chinese port city of Tianjin, but the tenor and the timing of the trio's embrace was impossible to ignore.

India, long courted by the West as a crucial Asian partner and counterweight to China, has been rattled by Trump's tariffs; the Kremlin has publicly brushed aside Washington's peace push in Ukraine; and Beijing continues to spar with the U.S. over trade, Taiwan and global influence.

Amid this thicket of tensions, the cozy optics at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) gathering appeared a clear signal in the face of U.S. pressure.

Weeks after Trump and Putin made headlines with a protocol-busting ride in "The Beast" at their Alaska summit, Modi joined the Russian leader for a drive in the back of Putin's own armored limo " a not-so-subtle statement of defiance just days after the U.S. doubled tariffs on India to 50% as punishment for buying Russian oil. ...

This place is funny a week ago I said US was on its way down, and everyone gets all worked up.

This is just one more sign, the global power is shifting.

This place is funny

It's funny that you spend 60 hours a week tongue-punching the orange rapist's turd cutter.

I think this co-op just stuck a pin in Trump's U.S. domination bubble.

@#10

I agree, for the most part.

The optics of the SCO meeting have been quite good. Excellent, as some have said

But there are still some significant underlying issues among those attending.

imo, the most notable report to come out of the SCO meeting so far, beside the hugging, hand-holding and shared car ride optics (all seemingly designed to tweak Pres Trump) is the agreement that they should continue to meet and talk in order to counter the West.

And that seems to be the longer-term result of Pres Trump's transactional approach to tariffs and controlling world trade.

Trump will be exploding on Truth Social any day now, about co-ops being illegal under international rules governing fair play.

LOL ~ Like he'd know anything about that.

It'll be interesting to see who else jumps onboard this blockade.

Now I have to wonder if the triage for this co-op was well into the advanced stage while Putin was in Alaska playing kissy-face with Trump . . . . And Trump, being the fool that is, never had a clue what was going on behind his back. Where was his intel team?

Besides, it's getting so you can't even trust a murderous dictator these days.

@#13 ... Now I have to wonder if the triage for this co-op was well into the advanced stage while Putin was in Alaska playing kissy-face with Trump . . . . ...

imo, with the Alaska ~event,~ Pres Trump welcomed Pres Putin to the world stage that the US recognizes, giving Pres Putin significant influence.

That photo of Pres Putin looking out the window of the US Presidential limousine has been precious to Russian State media.

What I wonder at this point, does Pres trump and MAGA even realize how Pres Putin used Pres Trump in Alaska?

Where's fat boy from North Korea? I say wait until he shows up before detonating that very large bomb underneath all of those murderous pigs. Our orange daughter lusting grifting rapist traitor will get the ax instead in a full public setting which would be really really keen.

If he does, he'd never admit it. And who among his staff would tell him without it sounding like a criticism?

Xi Jinping Unveils Vision For New Global Order
www.newsweek.com

... Members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) should cooperate further in economics and security to move away from the Western-led world order, China's President Xi Jinping has said.

Xi's address to members of the Eurasian bloc on Monday delivered a statement of intent about the rise of the so-called Global South.

"We should advocate for equal and orderly multi-polarization of the world," he said.

Steve Tsang, author of the forthcoming book, China's Global Strategy under Xi Jinping, told Newsweek that Xi's comments showed how he was working "to transform the existing international order into a Sino-centric one."

Why It Matters

The SCO is a Eurasian bloc established in 2001, which has expanded to include economic heavyweights like India to become a counterweight to the western G7 (Group of Seven) countries.

Xi's comments about closer economic and security cooperation among members chime with the vision of his ally, Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has repeatedly called for a pivot away from the U.S.-led global order. ...
