Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent made an odd claim about rising beef prices during an appearance on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo.

Bessent is on a short list of the most ineffective Treasury Secretaries in recent history. Funny how few talk about him being a Gay man in an administration which despises people like him. He appears uncomfortable at all times--stiff yet not formal, friendless and with a whiff of discourtesy. I'll wager he likes wearing a necktie to the golf course, but doesn't play much golf...
