ICE agent attacked with shovels by 3 illegal aliens

A federal officer has shot a man in the leg in the US city of Minneapolis after being attacked with a shovel as he tried to make an arrest, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) says. In a statement on X, the DHS said Wednesday's shooting happened after a car chase involving a Venezuelan national who was in the country illegally. It ended in a crash and the driver was joined by two more people who all attacked the officer, it said. DHS said the man who was shot was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

As I've said more than once, I'm surprised given their behavior that some ICE haven't been killed.

" The three individuals who ambushed and violently attacked an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officer during a targeted traffic stop in Minneapolis on Wednesday were all illegal immigrants from Venezuela who entered the country under the Biden administration, the Department of Homeland Security announced Thursday.

Agents were attempting to arrest Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis when he fled the scene in his vehicle, crashed into a parked car and fled on foot, officials said. The agent pursued Sosa-Celis on foot and was able to catch up to him, at which point he began to resist arrest and violently assault the officer.

As the pair struggled on the ground, two more illegal immigrants came out of a nearby apartment and attacked the agent with a snow shovel and a broom handle, DHS said. The ambush allowed Sosa-Celis to escape restraint, at which point he too began striking the officer with either a shovel or a broom stick."

I am glad, however, that the officer is okay and that no one was killed.

What a perfectly Gestapo way to try to apprehend somebody who is obviously not engaged in any criminal activity, but you can probably guess is going to not want to get apprehended by the Gestapo if he has the option of simply hitting the gas.

ICE created circumstances here which endangered the public.

Why not just wait until he gets home or gets to work?

Trump has ordered ICE to escalate violence every chance they get.
And he doesn't care if any innocent bystanders get hurt.
He's hoping ICE gets hurt, so he can retaliate.
