A St. Paul woman who is a U.S. citizen was illegally detained last week by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, she said Wednesday at a news conference at the Minnesota Capitol.
Nasra Ahmed, 23, a St. Paul woman and US citizen who was born in Minnesota, was released to her family without charges on Friday night after being detained by federal immigration enforcement agents and spending more than two days in detention.
