Bondi Says She's The Bar Now

In a proposed rule change flagged by Bloomberg Law, she floats a plan to take over state bar complaints against DOJ attorneys and "request that the bar disciplinary authority suspend any parallel investigations until the completion of the Department's review." Bondi adds that, "should the relevant bar disciplinary authorities refuse the Attorney General's request, the Department shall take appropriate action to prevent the bar disciplinary authorities from interfering with the Attorney General's review of the allegations."

If these lawyers want their state licenses, needed after their DOJ position ends, they must deal with their state bar.

There is nothing feds in general, and bondi in particular, can do to change that.

Acting like the concepts of federalism and precedent have any weight in a government completely controlled by the GOP, with a MAGAt SCOTUS being the final arbiter on the limits of the Supremacy Clause and Trump's executive power.

Arrogance is one thing but Bondi is doing what she can, under Trump's direction I am sure, to destroy the rule of law here in the US as the US has destroyed it internationally. Used to was one could not invade another country and murder its citizens without fear of being hauled to The Hague, now, no one even bothers trying to stop the murders.

Bondi is a bad person. Grasping, clawing, personal ambition obsessed. She would do literally anything Trump instructed her to do. Lie. Justify the murder of Americans. Refuse to investigate/prosecute anyone she perceives as useful to her career. I have to make a conscious effort not to use any misogynistic phrases to describe her. Her gender has nothing to do with her degree of repulsiveness.
