A US man who shot and killed a 20-year-old woman who mistakenly pulled into his rural driveway has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

The new convict was waiting his entire life to use his guns to kill someone. When you wait that long, you become impatient. Someone pulling into your driveway will do.

Too many wrongly assume the federal, constitutional right to possess firearms allows them to use them. No, that is state law (sometimes also federal law), and in this case they determined he was a murderer. He definitely should have gotten a life sentence, not just because he took a life, but because he fired at the vehicle as it was as leaving his property.

Agreed. It should be a life sentence for taking another life like that.

Drug users get harsher sentences.

Apparently Life is not as valuable or important and worth protecting as much as so called pro life republicans say it is.
