A top Hamas political official told The Associated Press the Islamic militant group is willing to agree to a truce of five years or more with Israel and that it would lay down its weapons and convert into a political party if an independent Palestinian state is established along pre-1967 borders. Al-Hayya did not say whether his apparent embrace of a two-state solution would amount to an end to the Palestinian conflict with Israel or an interim step toward the group's stated goal of destroying Israel.

Five whole years without Hamas trying to murder them all? And all Israel has to do is give Hamas everything it asks for and ignore Hamas as they re-arm for their next October 7th atrocity?

The Jews should pinch themselves to make sure they're not dreaming.

"if an independent Palestinian state is established along pre-1967 borders."

Israel will never accept that.

Israel wants Them Dead. Censored has it backwards. Why would Israel agree to anything?

The US and NATO are firmly behind them. They will kill half a million or so and see if that's enough.

If not, they will go the whole hog and any complaining about it will be a Crime in the EU or US.

Anti-Semitic, you know.

We can't have that, can we?

Hint: interim step.

Article 13 remains in place. Always has.

Something I posted here last month regarding this "ceasefire" pipe dream the Hamas-Lovers have:

>Also reminds me of the Hamas offer of a temporary cease-fire ("hudna"):
"In January 2004, senior Hamas leader [...] offered a 10-year hudna in return for complete withdrawal from all territories captured in the Six-Day War, the establishment of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza, and the "right of return" for all Palestinian refugees. Rantissi gave interviews with European reporters and said the hudna was limited to ten years and represented a decision by the movement because it was "difficult to liberate all our land at this stage; the hudna would however not signal a recognition of the state of Israel.""

>Basically demanding everything in return for a promise not to eradicate Israel for ten whole years. LOL! Jews have been around for awhile, so that ten years probably didn't strike them as a particularly meaningful offer. Gotta wake up a bit earlier in the day to out-haggle the J-O-Os.

It's abundantly clear that the path forward for Israel is to continue to ethnically cleanse the West Bank, and Gaza too.

It's what they have been doing for thirty years, with little more than token opposition.

Like Trump says: "Finish the problem."

So brave to deny this "positive" transition!

Keep doing that, #cloacapride

It's pretty much the same offer Hamas made 20 years ago (see #5) except this time for five years instead of ten. How is that "positive" for anyone except the terrorists? Or is that what you meant?

Hey, why don't you give me a bunch of your stuff (including excellent elevated territory from which I can launch rockets at you) and I won't try to kill you FOR FIVE WHOLE years? It's a "positive" transition, right? You should jump at the deal!

Keep doing that, #cloacapride #8 | Posted by redlightrobot
Is this some sort of anti-gay statement? I'll chalk that up as a Hamas-cultural thing, because that's how you guys roll. What with the beheadings and tossing gay guys from rooftops. I respect your beliefs like the liberals who have joined in your defense.

Hey, that's how Israel was born.

Why should they?

Palestinians have rejected it for half a century.

They are only coming to the table because they keep losing.

Most Palestinians weren't alive when Hamas was installed by Israel to rule over Gaza.

In 1960's Palestinian Christians were about 30% of their population. TODAY it's less than 2%.

Bethlehem has a massive wall dividing the city, checkpoints and machine guns guard against regular movement.

The citizens are harassed nonstop by Zionists, there are plenty of videos of the spitting and shoving during holy ceremonies, but ask any Christian visitors.

Christians are specifically targeted, their towns and farms, businesses, homes and churches terrorized, bombed and murdered out by Zionist Jews.

THIS is the history of Zionism.

Most Palestinians in the United States are CHRISTIANS escaping Israeli ethnic cleansing.

Yeah, the J-O-Os installed Hamas. Not the Palestinians who voted for them in what were found by international observers as free and fair elections. en.wikipedia.org

I guess it's just a happy coincidence that 72% of the Palestinians support Hamas and the October 7th atrocities of raping and murdering 1,200 civilian men, women, and children. www.reuters.com Those J-O-Os did a great job brainwashing the poor Palestinians into backing the terrorists who want the J-O-Os eliminated who the Palestinians definitely never voted for.
