Linguist, activist and social critic Noam Chomsky is hospitalized in his wife's native country of Brazil recovering from a massive stroke he had a year ago, she confirmed Tuesday.

Wishing something for someone who has lived a long and productive life is so difficult because there is so little value life has left to wish for him. Seems to me he drank his fill... I wish him a peaceful passing in the company and comfort of loved ones and gratitude for the gifts given.

Yeah, dying may be the Lesser Evil vote by now.

Always appreciated his work, have for decades. He hasn't looked well in photos and vids for a while now, and he's contributed a lifetime of thought and writing to the major questions of our time.
