Since you're an idiot, that makes it pretty clear that there is a good reason to strike it down.
Let's start with:
"In Tennessee, the law prohibits three types of transgender medical care for minors " puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and gender-transition surgeries."
Riddle me this dumbass.
How is it allowable that, say, a 15 year old girl can get breast reduction surgery for physical comfort or for appearance but not for gender transition? Can you define a difference between a breast reduction surgery for appearance vs gender transition? Isn't appearance a form of gender transition?
So, if a 15-year-old can get breast reduction surgery, to deny someone from getting one for gender transition is an obvious and blatant breach of the 14th Amendment.
Solicitor General Preloger identified the issue: "leaves the same treatments entirely unrestricted if they are prescribed for any other purpose."
Here is the applicable language from the 14th:
"No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States;..." and "...nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
It is a privilege to be able to obtain certain types of healthcare. Every person is entitled to equal protection, i.e. equal application of the law.
