The Military Brass doesn't have a high opinion of Mr. Trump, and why would they?

The insults, the slander... the old fool walking around with the nuclear football, and calling Generals liars. Because he's a Genius, ya know.

The rolling back of Vet's Benefits.

And the Military Brass take their Constitutional Role in an Insurrection very, very seriously.

Some people better start thinking twice about whether they really wanna be picking a fight with the US Military. Before they get themselves Babbitt-tized by fire.

Unless you're a multimillionaire or billionaire.

Voting for republicans is tantamount to shooting yourself in the foot.

And, of course, today in the News:

"Trump draws fire for remarks about Medal of Honor recipients

Trump has previously sparked criticism for swipes at servicemembers."

The Kamala Harris campaign pounced on Trump's words, saying he "knows nothing about service to anyone or anything but himself."

And progressive veterans group VoteVets said in a statement:

"It isn't just that Donald Trump doesn't respect Veterans and their sacrifice. It's that Donald Trump hates Veterans and their sacrifice, because he looks so small in comparison to them."

... Project 2025 envisions significant reductions to veterans' health care services and disability benefits. ...

As much as fmr Pres Trump tries to distance himself from Project 2025, his actions always seem to come back with a different story, one of support for Project 2025.

And so here I would like to give thanks to my country for the Veteran's benefits that I do get and am eligible for. I hope at the coming debates both Harris and Walz ask just how badly the Republican's will decimate Veterans' benefits, just to watch the Republicans lie about their devotion to Project 2025.

HUGH

"How badly?

Hard to say. But it'll probably be enough to justify his own cowardness. Plus, we already know how Trump treats people who are no longer any use to him.

All we can count on is that Trump will make everybody's life as miserable as possible and as often as he can and for any reason he can think of.

He's still nursing a revenge for 2020 when America had the audacity to reject him. So, 2025 and beyond, if he's elected, is going to be double-down time.
