Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz looked to the gridiron to push his vision for politics on Sunday as he and Vice President Kamala Harris dropped by a high school football team's practice in western Pennsylvania on Sunday. Social media users praised Walz for comparing politics and football, noting that such a speech shows him to be a "stunning speaker and communicator."

Harris' running mate - a former high school football coach in Minnesota - told the squad at Aliquippa Junior/Senior High School that politics have been "pretty ugly" and "pretty negative," adding that he fears young people will turn away from it rather than turning into it.

"Politics isn't so much different than this. It's about something bigger than themselves. It's about setting a future goal and trying to reach it. It's about doing it with dignity and hard work. It's about doing it with humility and when you lose, you walk across the field, you shake hands with the other team and know they played hard, too. But we're all in it together to try and make it better."

Walz then described the fourth quarter of a football game at the high school where "somebody has to step up" before teammates realize that they trust each teammate to the side of them.

"Our country's not that different. Our neighbors wanna be with ya, our neighbors wanna do what's right and the more we figure out that we're in this thing together and we have more in common than we have separated, we're gonna do a heck of a lot better."

As one commenter on Xitter noted, "This ---- will play extremely well in western PA." Everyday it becomes more apparent why Kamala chose Tim over her other outstanding candidates. Walz is the antithesis of everything Trump and Vance are, stand for, and articulate when speaking to the public.

As another Gen Z commenter wistfully remarked, "Tim Walz reminds me of the father I used to have before he became brainwashed by Rush Limbaugh and Fox News."

He's a lib, but he has some mid-western homey qualities that many, not all, Republicans had back in Ike's day, before the Mob Made Man Nixon showed the world that anyone, literally any dirt bag, could be President.

He seems nice enough, but I really can't approve of the sportsball.

Still, I can't vote for Nazis, so I'll vote for him anyway.

He's in sharp contrast to many who will barely remember who Tim Kaine was.

Maybe Trump was right when he said we should have football coaches run the military. Look how well tubberville has done in his leadership position and his relationship with the generals.

Wouldn't vote for either of them. Certainly not someone who has been to communist China 30 times. If there's any dirt on him, communist China has it.

Certainly not someone who has been to communist China 30 times.

"And then, lo and behold, China's approval of one of Trump's trademark applications became official"coincidentally only a few days after Trump reversed his previous position and endorsed the "one China" policy. This policy effectively recognizes the People's Republic of China as the legitimate government of the mainland territory while allowing the U.S. government to have unofficial relations with Taiwan, governed by the Republic of China. In March 2017, China granted preliminary approval for 38 additional Trump trademarks, applications for which had been submitted in April 2016.

In February, in its first major real estate transaction after Trump's inauguration, the Trump Organization sold a $15.8 million penthouse apartment in Trump Tower to Chinese-American business executive Xiao Yan Chen, who also goes by the name Angela Chen and has been directly linked to a front group for Chinese military intelligence through the misleadingly innocuous-sounding China Arts Foundation.

Trump has been dependent on Chinese money for quite a while. According to an investigation by The New York Times, Trump holds 30 percent ownership of an office building in Manhattan at 1290 Avenue of the Americas, for which four lenders, including the state-owned Bank of China, provided a $950 million loan in 2012. Commenting on the loan, Richard Painter, George W. Bush's chief White House ethics lawyer, stated, "Any payments from foreign governments or payments from banks controlled by foreign governments would fall under the emoluments clause. The loans from the Bank of China could be an issue." The Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution makes it illegal for a U.S. president to directly benefit from payments from foreign powers.

And, not surprisingly, Ivanka Trump also seems to be suddenly benefitting from all this newfound Chinese largesse. On the very same day that President Trump and Ivanka met with Chinese President Xi Jinping, China preliminarily approved three new trademarks for Ivanka's brand to cover jewelry, bags, and a spa service."

a better football analogy.

Jimbo Fisher was a bust at TAMU.....knowing he was going to lose more ....donor's in a back room

or on a golf course informed TAMU administration there would be no more money coning

if Jimbo were the head coach.

--overnight Jimbo is gone....

and when the new coach took over the money that was being held back was released....and wasn't counted

as new money raised by the new coach.

--I realize this analogy may be too sophisticated for rabid zealots, but ask your neighbor.....maybe

they can explain it to you.
