Funny story, a coworker had his apple device stolen a few years ago now. He tracked it to a location and called the local police. Our local police told him "We aren't going there to get it and we suggest you do not either". It was before BLM and Defund the Police, they were just not willing to deal with the gang members at the house. At the time we had a person on staff that had relapsed with a drug addiction and was stealing stuff and then selling it to off.
