A Roman Catholic diocese in Long Island, New York announced a new bankruptcy settlement on Thursday that would pay more than $323 million to about 530 sex abuse survivors who alleged they were abused by priests when they were children.

n absolute insult to the parshoners who contributed their money for years; where is justice for them? It should come as they defrock every priest, bishop, caedinal who helped cover up the pedophelia i the church for decades. But hey, it's a sin to be and I do wonder what part is missing from their brains.! I never doubt my own decision to part company with the Catholic CHURCH but I know people still devout members and I do wonder what part of their brains are missing.
