Boeing did not comment directly on the incident, referring BBC News to Intelsat's statements. The US Department of Defense's space-tracking website, SpaceTrack, also confirmed the incident. An alert on the platform said the US Space Forces also said it is "currently tracking around 20 associated pieces" of the satellite.

Maybe.

Probably by a disgruntled worker at Boeing.

Unknown cause at this point but it had a history of propulsion problems.

Boeing. One of the best and most innovative tech companies in America in decline. I put the blame on lack of focus to its fundamental mission of making their product and our country great. Instead they get hung up on mergers and bean counters and irrelevant cultural stupidity like ESG and wokeness and mergers. The union and management need to work together or neither will have anything.

Leadership under Biden was destructive without commonsense focus. focus. His foolish premature EV push has almost broke the auto industry along with DEI.
