Once the GOP has run the Country into the ground, people will elect a Dem again to clean up the mess they made with yuuge tax cuts for the very wealthy and pat on the head for their Trump Cult voters.

A cycle that has been going on for at least half a century now... Republicans F it up, and Dems clean it up.

Musk et al were making investments... which are already profitable.

It seems that offering million dollar prizes for people to vote is also a winner.

They've actually made that the rule with Citizens United and making money equal speech.

Many of the Founding Fathers were men of means. However, they did not codify their wealth as a means to control the nascent republic. Where are such men of wisdom/character these days ...

That's an awfully good profit on merely a $200 or so million investment. Including the public bribes to voters.

And you know what... that alone makes it right and fair, moral and legal these days; if you make a lot of money, you must be a worthy human being, eh?
