The military takes men and breaks their brains to turn them into killers.

Well that's nothing to brag about.

And then, they are released back onto the streets to deal with the emotional impact of what they have done. That is why it would seem that if there is a strong public consensus that a war is necessary (i.e. WWI, WWII), the emotional trauma on soldiers (i.e. killers) after the war might not be so severe.
I could see how it would be traumatizing if you're doing something you think is wrong just to earn a paycheck. You've got to be committed to the cause to do some of the things we ask our soldiers to do. And, they must never be lied to about the reasons for war, otherwise, when they are discharged, there will be hell to pay.

I knew it 20 years ago when republicans lied us into iraq that we'd have 2 consequences no one considered at the time:
1 - loss of international stability - if the USA can just lie to invade whoever they want, how can we say no one else is allowed to? That's how russia invaded ukraine
2 - brainwashed killing machines coming home to ruin lives in the USA. So many criminals and killers are revealled to have done tours in the mideast.

Fort Bragg is huge. Just because you were there doesn't mean you ever met anyone else in particular who was also there. I'm pretty sure the base in Afghanistan they're talking about (they never mention it by name) is so huge and central to the US logistics in that country that if you were in the military in Afghanistan anytime in the last 20+ years, you were almost certainly stationed there for at least some time. It's just grasping at straws trying to ascribe meaning to what are, in practice, overly elaborate suicide attempts to garner attention.

You have to admit that it is quite a coincidence tho. Not all coincidences are random and one of this type definitely should at least be investigated.
And it is at least very interesting that the Trumper choose to use a Tesla to kill himself in.
Not everything is always as it seems. I found it interesting that he chose a Tesla. A car that could drive itself and park itself with a dead man behind the wheel. Is that "Grasping at straws" or a lead that should at least be investigated?
Because if he did not actually kill himself then it is a whole different story isn't it?

I was in the Special Forces and stationed at Ft. Liberty(Bragg) and I can tell you from personal experience that it is a giant base and that a lot of dangerous stuff goes on there every day of the week for the soldiers that serve and train there. I came out of the Army because I was injured and then I was homeless for a time and have had seven operations to fix what I screwed up as a young man in the military. I understand what this guy was feeling about hopelessness but to think that fat orange traitor and his screwed brained buddy Musky will save us all was just delusional.
