Feroli added that a "recession in economic activity" will push the unemployment rate up to 5.3%.

The rank orange pedo is going to blow past 5.3%.

Billionaire know nothings are going to be our donwfall:

Lutnick: "The army of millions and millions of human beings screwing in little screws to make iPhones -- that kind of thing is going to come to America."

James Fallows @jfallows.bsky.social
Q for Lutnick:

Find a single iPhone factory where "millions of human beings are screwing in little screws"

I've been inside a lot of these places. He is now proving that he never has. Even 5 years ago you'd see people monitoring robots, and doing quality-check. not the little screws

Lutnick: "The army of millions and millions of human beings screwing in little screws to make iPhones -- that kind of thing is going to come to America."

Even if that was true (and it's obviously not) does anyone really think Americans will rush to sign up to "screwing in tiny screws" on iPhones for the same measly wages and no benefits that foreign workers currently get?

JP Morgan didn't forecast a recession.

They forecast a 60% chance of a recession.

So, a bit more than even odds.

"They forecast a 60% chance of a recession."

Was the other 40% a Global Great Depression?
