Crisfield officially got word from FEMA last July that it had secured $36 million from the program to launch the first phase of its massive flood-protection initiative.
More than two months after FEMA abruptly, and without explanation, canceled classes at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, the agency reversed itself Thursday and said classes at the center would resume on June 2.
