Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

US President Donald Trump rejected a plan by Israel to kill Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, three US officials have told BBC's US partner CBS News. Trump reportedly told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that assassinating Khamenei was "not a good idea", according to one official. The president has not commented publicly on the report. The conversation is said to have happened since Israel launched its attack on Iran on Friday.

During an interview with Fox News, Netanyahu did not directly confirm or deny a report from Reuters that Trump had vetoed a plan to kill the ayatollah. "There's so many false reports of conversations that never happened and I'm not going to get into that," the Israeli prime minister said. "But I can tell you I think we do what we need to do. We will do what we need to do and I think the United States knows what is good for the United States and I'm just not going to get into it."

This is a curious development.

If only for the aspect that it seems to show a cooperation between the Trump admin and the Netyanahu admin, a cooperation that had appeared to be denied by Pres Trump.

If Israel killed Khamenei, it would almost assuredly kick off a nuclear war in the region if not globally. The fact that Israel even thought this was okay just shows how delusional they have become. As it stands, I fully expect Iran to update their nuclear stance by stating a clear intention to complete a bomb (frankly, I think they already have them). As shown in the latest attack, Israel cannot stop Iranian missiles so it would simply be putting the nuke warhead on what they already have. Alternatively, Iran would be 100% justified as of now of nuking Dimona which would have the effect of a giant dirty bomb attack on the whole of Israel.

Trump is the sole source of sanity in the world now. With Jews like Zelensky and Netanyahu doing everything they can to bring on the end of humanity, it is shocking that we are even still alive now.

This meshuggeneh scheme to assassinate Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is just more evidence of Benjamin Netanyahu's (76) mental instability and possibly the first signs of dementia. Most of the world outside the US knows that this PIFWC (Person Indicted For War Crimes) needs to be immediately put in a strait-jacket and heavily medicated before being extradited to the Hague to face charges of war crimes.

And thanks to the psychopathic Netanyahu, the International Court of Justice found Israel guilty of perpetrating apartheid and inhumane acts against the Palestinian people.

An international arrest warrant issued by the ICC for war crimes remains active for Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu. An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

@#3 ... If Israel killed Khamenei, it would almost assuredly kick off a nuclear war in the region if not globally. ...

That's quite the bold assertion.

As seems to be the norm with your current alias, no substantiation whatsoever.

So, what's it got?
