Ah, the fishwrapper. The source of classified ads that led to all but one of my jobs w/ benefits.

I have friends in Atlanta newspaper and magazine circles from decades ago, and the AJC is a good outlet, or was.

Although the more conservative of the papers before they merged, the Atlanta Journal blue-streak edition was the best paper of the day. It was printed late afternoon to catch some of that day's stories, back from an era when papers published multiple editions a day. Late stock quotes, etc.

And it wasn't that long ago, really.

Oh, well. Atlanta's birds will be less well-read when doing their business.

I used to enjoy reading the newpaper but I guess that's the past and it isn't coming back.

It's a travesty what has happened to print media. You used to be able to open a newspaper and drink coffee in the morning. Now we have smartphones that we are wired to and yet we still aren't as informed as we should be.
