Despite his reputation of making deals, U.S. President Donald Trump has not discussed efforts to broker a deal to end the political gridlock that has shutdown America's government. The Atlantic writes about the number conflicts and government duties Trump has attended to in October.

I think Trump and Republicans are in agreement on this point. There's no urgency on Republicans in Congress to, well, govern. These are the same Republicans who went on recess so they could do Damage Control and strong-arm the Republicans who were defying Trump by demanding the release of the Epstein Files.
