"A robust collective of Republican lawmakers in Staten Island is discussing seceding from NYC in response to Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani's decisive win on 4 Nov.
'It's only going to get louder,' Staten Island Borough President Vito Fossella blustered, noting that a majority of residents in the Republican-leaning white-majority borough didn't vote for the popular Mamdani, a secular Muslim supported by two POTUS: Dummkopf Trumpf and Barack Obama.
And New Yorkers know the good-for-nothing hypocritical racist bleating the loudest about secession quite well:
"A former seven-term member of the US House, family values advocate Vito Fossella resigned in disgrace in 2008 after a DUI crash exposed him as an adulterer and the father of secret "love child" in Virginia.
On the night of his arrest, Fossella attended a White House reception, then continued partying at a DC pub where he got so drunk he was asked to leave. Fossella told arresting officers that he was on his way to visit his sick three year-old daughter in Virginia, which no doubt came as a huge surprise to his wife and three children back in Staten Island."
Staten Island is geographically closer to New Jersey than NYC. Historically, when some Brooklynites improved their lot, they would move to white majority, high property tax Staten Island. A Republican stronghold, most New Yorkers would be happy to let the "Forgotten Borough" secede.
Political hack Vito Fossella secured himself wonderful federal and NYC pensions as a good-for-no-one male skank in his super-safe white congressional district and borough.
