Pasta sold nationwide at Walmart stores is being recalled over possible listeria contamination, according to a recent announcement from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Bettergoods Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine was recalled after "routine sampling" in two states found the finished product may contain listeria monocytogenes, "an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems."
