The Texas GOP's executive committee voted to censure House Speaker Dade Phelan (R) on Saturday for his part in the impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton and appointing Democrats to chair House committees, among other issues.

Looks like he is paying the price for not wanting to kiss fmr Pres Trump's ring.

Yet another example of how the Republican Party is now marching goose-step in line with fmr Pres Trump.

The Republican "big tent" has become a farce. Now it seems that only certain people (people whose blood has not been poisoned by immigrants) are allowed to enter the tent and be a part of the circus inside.

Treating bipartisanship like it's collaboration with the enemy is definitely not a hallmark of fascism either.

Attorney General Ken Paxton's own employees were turning him in for corrupt practices. So censuring House Speaker Dade Phelan, is just political theater of party over reality.
