"One Republican moderate, speaking on the condition of anonymity to give candid thoughts about political concerns surrounding their party's marquee legislation, told Axios: "It could be trouble."

"We saw what happened in 2018," the lawmaker said, referring to the midterm year in which voter anger over the GOP's legislative efforts helped Democrats flip more than 40 House seats.

Democrats' House Majority PAC is circulating a memo on the vote, first shared with Axios, titled:

"House Republicans Ignore Constituents, Vote For Trump-Musk Agenda."

Yeah... Trump doesn't have until 2028 to finish his continuing Coup... he needs to do it before the Mid-Terms when he looses the Congress.

Those nasty Dems might "Lawfare!" him again for illegally trying to stay in power... again.

Keep pissing over 98% of the voting public in favor of your oligarchs.

Jesus how stupid are the GOP voters that they keep voting for these asshats?

President Plane Crash is pushing them down a road of self ruin.

Just gotta run clips of them over and over promising:

-lowering grocery prices
-lowering housing prices
-no taxes on social security
-no taxes on tips
-no taxes on overtime

They sure forgot about those awfully fast.

Now they are telling their members to run and hide from their voters and not do town hall meetings because of the rage they have rightfully earned by letting elmo destroy the government in order to get even more fat contracts for himself.

Prime example is the armored teslas. The love to lie that it was a Biden line item. Biden had a line item for $400K for electic vehicles not teslas. It was Felon 47 that replaced the $400K for ev's and equipment with $400,000,000 for armored teslas.

Felon47 looked pathetic falling asleep in Elmos cabinet meeting the other day. What a pathetic cockroach he is.

Republicans consider major budget change to obscure deficit impact of extending Trump's tax cuts
www.nbcnews.com

... GOP leaders argue that extending Trump's expiring 2017 tax cuts shouldn't be treated as costing any money. ...

Republicans are considering a far-reaching change to the budget process that would obscure the deficit impact of extending President Donald Trump's multitrillion-dollar tax cuts in order to avoid paying for them.

It comes as part of a massive bill to advance Trump's agenda that Republicans are seeking to pass on a party-line basis. If the tactic is successful, it would upend long-standing precedent and change the accounting process for current and future lawmakers, with major policy stakes.

Extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which Trump signed into law in 2017, would cost $4.6 trillion over a decade, according to the Congressional Budget Office, the official nonpartisan scorekeeper.

That's under the "current law" metric that has traditionally been used, as the tax cuts are slated to expire at the end of this year. But Senate Republicans want to use a different scoring method called the "current policy" baseline, which would assume that extending tax cuts costs $0 because they're already law. ...

Remember how each and every MAGA fanatic functionary touted DOGE, and wanted to join the bandwagon. Voters will be remined loud and long about how these folks wanted to starve children, see epidemics rage unabated, stand aside at the theft of private information from hundreds of millions of Americans, and applaud job losses throughout the federal government...

@#5 ... Republicans consider major budget change to obscure deficit impact of extending Trump's tax cuts...

If the Republicans think the budget they passed is so great, then why to they also seem to think they have to change how that change is evaluated to make it look better?

"which would assume that extending tax cuts costs $0 because they're already law."

Something the markets won't assume. Because that isn't the truth.

But watch how soon this dangerous lie BECOMES TRUTH in MAGA world. What's the over/under on how soon Hannity starts spewing this nonsense? How long till the Money Honey gets drunk enough to agree?

(I'll take the under on both.)

"So, I'm not the only one who sees an issue there?"

Ignoring trillions of debt, and the hundreds of billions of interest we pay every year???

What could possibly go wrong?
