Heather Cox Richardson: Trump has made dismissing as a hoax what he calls "Russia, Russia, Russia" central to his political narrative. But Russian operatives did, in fact, work to elect him in 2016 ... . That effort was not a one-shot deal: Russians worked to influence the 2020 presidential election, too.

Something odd here.

CBS News confirms other media reports: "Hegseth has issued a directive to U.S. Cyber Command to pause planning against Russia, including offensive digital actions."

The CBS News then notes that National Security Advisor Michael Waltz said he's unaware of the directive.

2/ "On CNN State of the Union, national security adviser Mike Waltz said he was also unaware of the directive. Asked whether there were talks about pausing offensive cyber operations against Russia, Waltz said, "That has not been part of our discussions.'"

3/ It gets odder.

Here's Rep. Mike Turner Sunday morning on CBS flabbergasted by the question. Says he's unaware of directive. He considers it literally inconceivable that Hegseth would issue such a directive.

Yet CBS News just reaffirmed the reporting on the Hegseth directive.

4/ Rep Turner: "I can't- I don't- no, I'm unaware of that and I don't believe that."

"I am confident considering what Russia is currently doing against the United States, the United States status against Russia would not be that-- considering what we are facing from Russia operations."

Transcript: www.cbsnews.com

5/ Many journalists have now confirmed Hegseth stand-down directive.

Crazy coincidence, huh?:

"Kirchgaessner also noted that under Trump, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), which monitors cyberthreats against critical infrastructure, has set new priorities. Although Russian threats, especially those against U.S. election systems, were a top priority for the agency in the past, a source told Kirchgaessner that analysts were told not to follow or report on Russian threats."

This is one way Republicans plan to steal the next supposedly free elections.

Gaslighting republicraps will always ball back to "I can't believe that is happening" or "I haven't heard or read that" time after time after time because THEIR voters will not hold them accountable.

When they do hold them accountable at town hall meetings the GOP --------- run away. www.cjonline.com
Marshall abruptly ends meeting as crowd boos and shouts
After the back-and-forth with the crowd, Marshall abruptly ended the meeting as members of the crowd booed and shouted.

"We don't have time for everyone to stand up. I do got two more commitments today. I appreciate everybody making the drive out and God bless America," Marshall said before walking out to shouts and boos.

Libs loved Russia in the 80s when Reagan was calling them an evil empire and they had all of Eastern Europe in communism and bread lines.

So Hillary lost because of the Russians and also Harris? Wow, election denial? Isn't that treasonous? Oh wait, Dems held Joe up with a walker, telling us he was sharp as a tack......until he was losing in the polls and then they pushed him out for a real bonehead who couldn't answer a question in public. But yes, it was the Russians.

The putrid orange pedo is starting a tariff war with allies while easing sanctions on Russia. Weird.
