The administration is quietly putting America's children at risk by cutting funds and manpower for investigating child abuse, enforcing child support payments, providing child care and much more.

Surely just giving a bitch $5000 undoes mass terminations, the suspension of decades-old programs and the neutering of entire agencies.

No?

Republicans are not upset by dismantling free services for others, no matter how young, old or needy.

Their inhumanity is blatant.

The Cruelty Is The Point.

Hey, anything's better than raising billionaire's taxes, right?
I know I'm a freak, but I honestly don't know how these folks sleep at night.

Children are the brain dead orange pedo's favorite victims.

just butcher them all before they're born....

"you people" are good at that.

"just butcher them all before they're born...."

If you actually cared for them AFTER they were born, you'd have a point. Instead, it's obvious you're using women as a political prop, while trying to "control them down there", as my bride so succinctly puts it.

are you saying you respect the opinions of those who are truly pro-life?

Against abortion but also fully supports all truly pro-life aspects.

welfare
medicaid
social security
health care access
etc....

You'll shake the hand of someone who anti-abortion but also believe in the other pro-life positions?

or have you simply convinced yourself there are no such people?

"are you saying you respect the opinions of those who are truly pro-life?"

Yes, as long as they don't make that decision for others.

"or have you simply convinced yourself there are no such people"

Convinced? No. Observed, yes. I certainly don't see any Republicans championing parenting, outside of tax cuts they can put on the 1040, to claim "less people are paying taxes".

-Yes, as long as they don't make that decision for others.

you mean vote to restrict abortion access?

You understand the problem here....there is no place for such a person I describe.

The right doesn't want them because they make them look like hypocrites for saying they care about babies before they're born but then don't give 2 -----.

The left doesn't want them because it waters down their wedge issue. Once someone says "I'm against abortion".....nothing else they say will matter even if they are very supportive of adoption, foster care, health care, head start, minimum wage, EITC, anything and everything that helps anybody raising a child.

Both sides want the extremes....and the rest should just STFU.

Because nobody wants to acknowledge that position.

"you mean vote to restrict abortion access?"

I mean like make mifepristone illegal, or suing a doctor in, say, Kansas for performing a legal abortion on a raped 9-yr old from Texas.

"You understand the problem here....there is no place for such a person I describe."

Look in the mirror for the culprit. Republicans built that.

"Once someone says "I'm against abortion".....nothing else they say will matter "

I disagree; I always ask the follow-up questions, to see if they're pro-child (fine and good), or pro forced-birth. For example, wanting Head Start to end tells me plenty.

"Because nobody wants to acknowledge that position"

Yet they're quick to adopt updated parameters ALL THE TIME, for the purposes of talking points.

I realized that when the Republicans who AUTHORED the tax bill, putting lots of credits onto the 1040, complained "less people were paying taxes"...after changing the equation that way.

Here's a quick example: When I was a kid, if the family up the street paid $1000 in income taxes that year, they'd be marked as "paying income taxes", because, of course, they paid income taxes. If they also got $100 a month in welfare because they had three kids, they'd still be marked as "paying income taxes"...because, again, they paid income taxes.

That same situation today would include the welfare ON the tax return, so they'd get a $200 refund....and they'd be marked as NOT paying income taxes.

There are a half-dozen things like this on the 1040, like CTC, AOC, ACTC, and the Child Care Credit.
